Hill Farm House - Tribute to Rose

Created by Arben 3 months ago

In the late 80s I was a student in University Clinical Center of Prishtina/Kosova. My dream was to visit England as i was very fond of British music, Premier league and English culture.

I visited England for the first time in 1988. In due time I had the privilege to meet an english couple in Oxford, So, Keith and Rose invited me to visit them in Swanmore - a rural village in Hampshire county. When i saw the 'Hill Farm House', i was stunned, 'wow' this house is magnificent, resembling a Royal residence, and when we walked into the house it looked more like a museum. They asked me to choose a room and they told me that some parts of the house were almost a century - older. I told them that the older structure of the house will suit me better because where I come from - we are almost a century behind you. We were silent for a minute and then we burst into laughter. Rose already left  few biscuits in my room.

With Rose we were in the same profession, while Keith and I were 'Liverpool fans', so we have so many common topics for debate.

Rose, your personality, beliefs and values were unique.

Thank you for creating so many beautiful memories

  R.I.P. our beloved Rose.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.     Arben
